SBS’s weekend drama Flex X Cop started on a high note, recording an average nationwide viewership rating of 5.7% and 6.9% for its first two episodes.
Episodes 1 and 2 of Flex X Cop depicted how Jin Yi Su (played by Ahn Bo Hyun) teamed up with Detective Lee Kang Hyun (Park Ji Hyun). Kang Hyun, who was chasing a murderer, arrested Yi Su for assault after seeing him fighting with someone. She later learned that Yi Su was the heir of Han Su Group and was told to release him by the police chief (Kim Byeong Chun). However, she continued her investigation as she believed he was guilty of assault.

However, it was revealed that Yi Su had caught a murderer before the police did. In exchange for keeping the truth under wraps, the police allowed him to join Kang Hyun’s team.
