Kim Bum Soo is set to make a comeback with a pre-release track from his forthcoming 9th album. His agency, YOUNG Entertainment, announced on the 19th that Kim Bum Soo will release the single The World of You on the 25th. Along with this announcement, a teaser video for the music video of the song was released on the singer’s official channels.
The teaser has garnered attention for featuring Kim Bum Soo’s emotive vocals and Hyun Bin‘s appearance as the male lead. The video concludes intriguingly with Hyun Bin walking while a white cloth covering furniture gradually disappears.
It’s reported that Hyun Bin agreed to star in the music video as a gesture of appreciation to the singer who performed at his wedding. This collaboration follows their previous work together on the music video for “Memory” in 2005, heightening expectations for another epic collaboration.
“The World of You” is a pre-release track from Kim Bum Soo’s upcoming 9th album, set to be unveiled in February. The song is touted as the most mainstream and closest to Kim Bum Soo’s signature musical style among the album tracks. Hit lyricist Kim Ji Hyang, known for writing Park Hyo Shin’s “Wild Flower,” has enhanced the song’s quality.
