Netflix released a new teaser poster and trailer for Gyeongseong Creature.
Set against the backdrop of the colonial period in 1945, the series follows the gripping tale of two young adults battling for their lives against a monster spawned from human greed in the city of Gyeonseong.
The tense teaser image captures Jang Tae Sang (played by Park Seo Joon) and Yoon Chae Ok (Han So Hee) facing a mysterious entity, setting the stage for a thrilling storyline. Park Seo Joon shared, “The strange creature amps up the tension, and the struggle of young adults fighting for their lives adds extra charm to the show.” Han So Hee added, “I’m excited to see this new kind of period drama centered around a monstrous being.”
The teaser video takes us through Tae Sang and Chae Ok’s initial encounter and their collaboration during this dark period. Tae Sang finds himself blackmailed into finding the mistress of the General Inspector before the cherry blossoms fall. Frustrated by the lack of clues, he crosses paths with Chae Ok and her father, a skilled search team. Chae Ok seeks Tae Sang’s help in finding her missing mother, leading her to go undercover in the local hospital to uncover the truth. As the characters embark on their life-and-death struggle in the colonial era, anticipation is building around the secrets waiting to be uncovered.

Gyeongseong Creature: Part 1 will release on December 22nd, 2023, followed by Part 2 on January 5th, 2024.
