Believer 2 has claimed the number one spot on Netflix’s Global TOP 10 chart for non-English films on November 22nd. Additionally, it has secured the third position on Flixpatrol’s Netflix movie chart as of November 21st, with an impressive score of 349 points.
According to Netflix Global Top 10, Believer 2 proudly made it to the TOP 10 lists in 23 countries, including Singapore, Thailand, Morocco, Romania, and Jamaica. The movie also topped the Flixpatrol charts in South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.
Believer 2 continues the intense storyline following the relentless pursuit of Detective Won Ho (played by Cho Jin Woong) after the brutal showdown at Yongsan Station. The narrative unfolds with characters like the missing Rak (Oh Seung Hoon), the re-emerged Brian (Cha Seung Won), and the formidable Big Knife (Han Hyo Joo) from China. It serves as a midquel to the 2018 crime action movie, Believer.
Yet, the film faced criticism right after its theater release. The film has been called out for its thin plot, unappealing characters and a disappointing conclusion. Han Hyo Joo’s performance as Big Knife got hit the hardest, with viewers saying it lacked acting skills and that she wasn’t the right fit for the character.

As a result, the movie’s ratings have lingered in the 2-point range. Considering the huge success of its first installment, which attracted over 5 million viewers, the disappointment surrounding its sequel is palpable.
So without further ado, let’s take a look at some thoughts from viewers who watched Believer 2:
Believer 2 (Netflix sequel to the 2018 korean hit)
Upped the action, crazyness & violence, kept the tension & twists. 7,5/10
But you should really watch Believer shortly before, otherwise it might just feel too convoluted or flat out confusing. (especially as 1 lead got recast) pic.twitter.com/r1pHEb8Cyv

“Believer 2” was a good movie but, felt useless to be made by the end of it. Genuinely would’ve preferred the movie to not exist. (Especially based on the ending.) #kdramas #netflix #Believer #Believer2 @NetflixKo

Damn the shootouts in Believer 2 (now on Netflix) are friggin' ace, some great sense of geography, blank-firing guns, and sparse but effective use of FPV drones 👍🙌🔥👀 pic.twitter.com/5X0B5IFU7V
