Lee Hong Jo (played by Jo Bo Ah) and Jang Shin Yu (Rowoon) feel a subtle shift in their feelings in Episode 6 of JTBC’s Destined With You.
Hong Jo becomes confused about her feelings for Shin Yu when he gets an inch closer to kiss her, saying that it’s his drinking habit to kiss the person next to him. Though he ends up failing to kiss her, he blurts out, “My heart keeps beating when I see you,” in a drunk state.

In the meantime, Hong Jo receives an unexpected call from Na Yeon (Yura). Na Yeon comes to visit her and apologizes for her past actions towards Hong Jo. Initially, Hong Jo accepts her apology and softens. However, she soon realizes that the apology didn’t come from the heart.
Meanwhile, Kwon Jae Kyung (played by Ha Jun) becomes more open about his feelings for Hong Jo. He asks her what happened between her and Shin Yu and tells her, “I couldn’t sleep because of you,” which makes Hong Jo’s heart flutter. When Shin Yu comes to see Hong Jo while he’s drunk, Jae Kyung warns him to stay away from her.”

Wanting to see Hong Jo, Shin Yu makes a call to her, but she gives him the cold shoulder, saying that their feelings will fade away. Despite saying that, Hong Jo becomes confused about her emotions as they are something that she has never felt before.
The promised day of the ‘disaster nullification spell’ has arrived. Unlike Hong Jo, Shin Yu makes various lame excuses to avoid casting the spell. However, he ends up agreeing to it. Although the spell initially works, a devastating twist takes them by surprise. Sensing something amiss, he retrieves his lucky charm and realizes that one of the Chinese characters is misspelled. Upon this discovery, he rushes to see Hong Jo and asks her what has happened. She responds, ‘You made me feel confused by telling me you love me or something.’ Hearing her words, Shin Yu recalls the day when he got drunk. Just then, Jae Kyung appears before the two and inquires if they have sorted things out. Surprisingly, Shin Yu replies, ‘Not yet for me. Apparently, I love her. I love Lee Hong Jo.'”
