
Lee Se Young and Kentaro Sakaguchi will be starring in a new drama titled Things That Come After Love (literal title).
On July 25th, an industry insider revealed to JTBC, saying “Lee Se Young and Kentaro Sakaguchi will team up for a new drama named Things That Come After Love.
The drama is based on the 2005 novel written by Korean and Japanese writers, Gong Ji Yeong and Hitonari Tsuji. The series follows a romantic story between a Korean woman and a Japanese man, and the original novel gained immense popularity, becoming a bestselling novel.
Kentaro Sakaguchi recently revealed his plan for holding his first-ever South Korean fan meet in September. He previously visited the country to promote his two films – Tonight, at the Movies and The Last 10 Years – in 2018 and 2022, respectively. Now, he is excited to resume his activities in Korea, including the fan meet and drama project.
Things that Come after Love is produced by Silver Lining Studio and helmed by Moon Hyun Sung, who has previously directed films like Seoul Vibe and The King’s Case Note. Filming for the upcoming drama will take place alternately in Korea and Japan early next year.
