Lee Byung Hun’s $18.73M Building Earns $66K Monthly Rental Income

It has been revealed that a corporation, where Lee Byung Hun‘s mother serves as a director, has purchased a building in Oksu-dong for approximately 24 billion won ($18.7 million) and is receiving a monthly rental fee of about 85 million won ($66,337).

On the 24th, Hankyung.com reported that Project B, the real estate leasing and consulting corporation, acquired a building near Oksu Station for about 23.99 billion won ($18.7 million) in August of last year, with a loan of 19 billion won. ($14.8 million)

The building has a land area of 732 square meters and a total floor area of 2,494.76 square meters, with 2 basement floors and 6 above-ground floors. It was newly built in September 2021, and an international school is currently leasing the entire building with a deposit of 1 billion won ($780,439) and a monthly rent of 85 million won ($66,337).

Project B is a real estate leasing and consulting corporation established in September 2017, and it is known that Lee Byung Hun owns the majority of shares.

On another note, in March 2018, Project B purchased a building in Yeongdeungpo-gu with a land area of 1,470.79 square meters and a total floor area of 7,931.75 square meters for 26 billion won ($20.3 million). Later, in July 2021, it was sold for 36.8 billion won ($28.7 million). It is known that Lee Byung Hun raked in about 1.2 billion won ($936,629) annually while he owned the building.
