Rumors are swirling about an alleged falling out between BIGBANG leader G-Dragon and former member T.O.P. Claims have surfaced that the two have not only blocked each other on Instagram, but they’ve also reportedly removed photos taken together from their respective accounts.
A post titled “Seems like two BIGBANG members fought and blocked each other” went viral on internet communities such as Instiz. The post claims that T.O.P had blocked G-Dragon on Instagram, and vice versa, with G-Dragon allegedly taking down all the photos with T.O.P.
Social media sleuths have noted that neither artist appears in the other’s follower list. Even the remnants of their interactions, such as previously liked posts, have seemingly vanished. This has led netizens to conclude that the two have potentially blocked each other.
As a matter of fact, T.O.P made headlines in early June with his bold and explicit statements about his departure from the group. In response to a fan question, “Did you leave BIGBANG?” T.O.P replied, “I’ve already withdrawn.” He further stressed, “I’ve already told you guys that I’m leaving, and I’m now facing a new chapter in my life since last year.”
People didn’t hold back in voicing their opinions. Comments such as, “We can’t fully know T.O.P’s state of mind, but still…” “This just makes me sad. They’ve been friends since they were kids,” and “We don’t know what happened but we’ll probably never get a BINGBANG comeback” reflected the intensity of the unfolding drama.
