The Glory actor Kim Gun Woo is set to continue his rise to stardom with Eun Jung and Sang Yeon (literal title).
According to Xportsnews on the 21st, Kim Gun Woo is considering joining the cast of the new drama Eun Jung and Sang Yeon.
This upcoming drama tells the story of Ryu Eun Jung and Cheon Sang Yeon, who have been best friends since elementary school but had a falling out due to a certain incident. Now as adults, with Eun Jung as a drama writer and Sang Yeon as a film producer, they reunite.
The drama comes from the collaboration of director Jo Young Min, who previously helmed The Interest of Love and Do You Like Brahms?, and My Mister writer Song Hye Jin. The production is by Kakao Entertainment.
If Kim Gun Woo does join the project, he’ll play Kim Sang Hak, a man known for his love for the camera. He’s popular with everyone with his straightforward personality and amiable human nature. In his college days, Sang Hak dated Eun Jung quite fiercely. Later, he becomes a respected film director and reunites with Eun Jung.
Kim Go Eun and Park Ji Hyun are reportedly considering the roles of Eun Jung and Sang Yeon, respectively.
Meanwhile, Kim Gun Woo garnered fame for his role in Netflix’s The Glory, where he played Son Myung Oh, the school bully who torments Moon Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo).
