Ko Kyung Pyo is making a comeback in the rom-com genre, as he and Kang Hanna have confirmed their roles in the upcoming drama No Secrets (literal title).
JTBC’s new drama No Secrets is a comical melodrama depicting the life of an announcer, Song Gi Baek (Ko Kyung Pyo), who ends up with the “uncontrollable tongue,” and the passionate variety show writer, Ohn Woo Joo (Kang Hanna).
In the drama, Ko Kyung Pyo takes on the role of Song Gi Baek, a by-the-book anchor who has spent 33 years crafting his perfect image. His life takes an unexpected turn when he suddenly starts speaking his mind without filtering his thoughts, leading him to meet Ohn Woo-joo and embark on the second chapter of his life.
Kang Hanna portrays the enthusiastic variety show writer who discovers the hidden charm beneath Song Gi Baek’s rough language and unfiltered speech and even ends up appearing alongside Gi Baek in a dating variety show.
Off the Course director Jang Ji Yeon helms the production. The screenplay is penned by Choi Kyung Sun.
Meanwhile, No Secrets is scheduled to air on JTBC, and the specific broadcast date is currently under discussion.
