Yoo Ah In was issued a summons to attend a police investigation on the 24th related to drug use allegations.

According to the police on Monday, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s drug crime investigation unit summoned the actor as a suspect in violation of the Narcotics Control Act on the 24th.

The police received test results from the National Forensic Service on the 17th of last month, which indicated positive reactions to four types of drugs, including marijuana, propofol, cocaine, and ketamine, in Yoo Ah In’s hair and urine.

The investigation into Yoo Ah In started when the police received the results of a Food and Drug Safety Administration investigation, which showed that the actor’s prescription of propofol was abnormally high.

Earlier this month, Yoo Ah In’s manager and acquaintance were summoned as witnesses on the 13th and 14th. The police also conducted a search and seizure of hospitals and clinics in the Gangnam and Yongsan areas of Seoul suspected of prescribing propofol to Yoo Ah In, as well as his residence, and questioned hospital staff from early last month to early this month.
