The arrest warrant for VIXX’s Ravi, who was charged with attempting to evade military service, has been dismissed.
On March 6th, a Chief Judge at the Seoul Southern District Court dismissed the arrest warrant by stating that “given the objective evidence collected so far, it is difficult to say that the risk of fleeing and destroying evidence is high as the suspect has admitted to his charges,” after reviewing the evidence.
On March 2nd, the Seoul Southern District Court’s special investigation team had requested an arrest warrant for the artist, who was involved in a military-evasion scandal.
Ravi was found to be complicit in military-related corruption as his false medical report was discovered on the phone owned by one of the brokers who had been arrested for helping their clients dodge military service by issuing false medical documents.
Ravi has been working as a public service worker since the end of October last year. He is also the CEO of GROOVL1N, which represents rapper Nafla, who was recently arrested for attempting to avoid military service by manipulating the attendance records for social workers.
