Just eight members of WJSN have renewed their contract with Starship Entertainment.
On the 3rd, Starship Entertainment announced, “Recently, we have renewed the contracts with eight members of WJSN — EXY, Seola, Bona, Soobin, Eunseo, Yeoreum, Dayoung, and Yeonjung.”
The agency added, “As for Luda and Dawon, we have had sincere and in-depth discussions for a long time, but unfortunately, they ended their exclusive contracts. Also, we’re informing you that contracts with the three members under Yuehua Entertainment’s management, Xuan Yi, Cheng Xiao, and Mei Qi, for WJSN activities will automatically be terminated.”
“For the members who have resigned the contract based on mutual trust that has built up over the years, we’ll make every effort to support their WJSN promotions and their activities in various fields,” Starship concluded.
WJSN debuted in February 2016 with the song “MoMoMo.” The group has been promoting as a 10-member group since 2018 after Xuan Yi, Cheng Xiao, and Mei Qi stopped their activities in Korea.
