Netflix announced the production of its new mystery series In the Woods with No One (literal title).
This new mystery series tells the story of a pension owner struggling to protect his life that started to fall apart after a mysterious woman showed up at his doorstep one summer.
Veteran actor Kim Yun Seok plays Jeon Young Ha, who runs a pension in the deep forest. And joining him in the cast is Yoon Kye Sang, who’ll be stepping into the role of Gu Sang Joon. In the summer of the early 2000s, Gu Sang Joon lost everything he treasures in an incident that took place at the motel, which was his family’s precious home.
Go Min Si takes on the role of Yoon Seung Ah, who is strangely obsessed with the pension Jeon Young Ha runs. Lastly, Lee Jung Eun becomes Yoon Bo Min, a former ace homicide detective who’s used to persistently digging into the case.
The show tells the story of Jeon Young Ha, who owns the pension now, and Gu Sang Joon, who runs the motel in the past – the two people living in different time zones. But when they face a similar life-changing event, they make different choices and the drama zeros in on that change.
Meanwhile, In the Woods with No One is helmed by The World of the Married Mo Wan Il. Studio SLL and Studio Flow will co-produce the show.
