Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra are reteaming in the new drama Family (literal title).

On the 8th, tvN’s new series Family announced the casting of Jang Hyuk, Jang Na Ra, Chae Jung An, and Kim Nam Hee. This upcoming comedy-action family series is about a black agent who pretends to be an ordinary office worker and a sweet-yet-feisty wife who dreams of a perfect family.

Jang Hyuk takes on the role of Kwon Do Hoon, a black NIS agent who pretends to be an employee of a trading company for his wife Kang Yu Ra. He’s a veteran sniper with quick, accurate marksmanship, and he might not be a family guy because of his busy schedule, but he loves his wife deeply.

Starring opposite Jang Hyuk as Kwon Do Hoon’s wife Kang Yu Ra is Jang Na Ra. After Kang Yu Ra meets Kwon Do Hoon, she creates her own perfect family that she dreamt of all her life. But behind her lovely smile, she holds a secret. This is the fourth drama Jang Hyuk and Jang Na Ra have teamed up for – Cheerful Girl, You Are My Destiny, and Old Good-bye.

The Coffee Prince actress Chae Jung An steps into the role of Oh Chun Ryeon, a NIS operative and Kwon Do Hoon’s boss. She looks like she’s enjoying her glamorous single life, but she’s a lonely woman digging for some human relationship after her three divorces. That’s why she tries to help Kwon Do Hoon in his struggle to keep his marriage.

Lastly, Reborn Rich actor Kim Nam Hee becomes Tae Goo, a mysterious uninvited guest who visits Kwon Do Hoon and Kang Yu Ra. Tae Goo is an impulsive man when it comes to proving himself and the pleasure of the moment. He approaches Kang Yu Ra, the special woman who was like a ray of sunshine to him in the past, again to shake her life.

Meanwhile, Family will premiere in April.
