Bae In Hyuk is returning with the new webtoon-based series The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract (literal title).
On Wednesday, Bae In Hyuk’s agency UU Company confirmed, “Bae In Hyuk was cast in the drama The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract.” Based on the webtoon of the same name, this new drama tells the story of a girl from Josen who somehow ends up in modern times.
The story begins when Park Yen Woo, a woman in the Joseon Dynasty who lost her husband on the first night of their wedding, awakens in the 21st century. And in this new world that she wakes up in, she gets into a contract marriage with Kang Tae Ha.
Bae In Hyuk steps into the role of Kang Tae Ho, whose belief in non-marriage life slowly changes after meeting Park Yeon Woo. The actor rose to fame last year, starring in various projects including Why Her, Cheer Up, and Under the Queen’s Umbrella.
Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Lee Se Young is in talks to play Park Yeon Woo. The show is slated for premiere in the second half of this year.
