NewJeans set a new record on Billboard’s Global 200 Chart.
According to Billboard, NewJeans’ pre-release single “Ditto” debuted at No. 8 on the Global 200 chart’s Top 10 and was also placed at No. 4 on Billboard Global Excl. US chart.
Among all K-pop artists who debuted after September 2016, they are the only group that scored an entry above the top 10 on Billboard’s Global 200 chart and top 5 on Global Excl. US chart.
“OMG” ranked 19th on the Global Excl. US chart and took the 30th spot on the Global 200 Chart. “Hype Boy” is staying strong on both charts for 22 consecutive weeks.
Along with the rising popularity of their new album OMG, the act’s debut album New Jeans is also drawing huge attention. New Jeans came in 15th on the Heatseekers Albums Charts and ranked seventh on the Emerging Artists list.
