WINNER’s Kim Jinwoo is continuing his acting career with the new drama Pure Boxer (literal title).
YG Entertainment announced on the 10th, “Kim Jinwoo has officially joined KBS’s new drama Pure Boxer as Han Jae Min.” Kim Jinwoo also expressed his job, “I’m honored and excited to be a part of Pure Boxer. I will do my best to give the best performance.”
Pure Boxer is the new sports series based on the novel “Pure Boxer Lee Kwon Sook” by author Chu Jong Nam. Kim Jin Woo steps into the role of Han Jae Min, the first love of genius boxer Lee Kwon Sook (Kim So Hye). Han Jae Min is the deputy director of a kindergarten, famous for his beautiful face – which everyone says is the perfect role for the singer.
Meanwhile, Pure Boxer is slated to premiere in the first half of this year. The cast includes Kim So Hye and Lee Sang Yeob.
