The impressive educational background of The Glory star Cha Joo Young surprised everyone.

Recently, a post titled “A Surprising Truth About the Academic Background of the Star Who Plays Choi Hye Jeong in ‘The Glory’.jpg” has garnered many online users’ attention. The post contained information from the actress’s 2018 interview with The Daily Sports.

According to the interview, the actress graduated from the University of Utah with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She was asked, “What made you want to become an actor?” To which she answered, “I wanted to do many things back then, and I loved watching movies. I was interested in movies, music and art. But my father did not want me to pursue arts, so I majored in business administration. I got a casting offer when I was a college student. I rejected it initially, but I later changed my mind as I thought it’d be better to give it a try instead of regretting it later on for not giving it a try.”
