RM’s visit to the Hwaeomsa Temple and his time there became a hot topic. However, it turns out that RM wasn’t aware of his visit getting released through news articles, befuddling the fans.

Earlier today, Hwaeomsa Temple shared that BTS’ RM visited them on December 29th with music producer Kang San for two days to take a break and get inspiration.

When Monk Deok Mun asked RM, “Are you sad about not being exempt from military service?” the artist replied, “Of course I want to fulfill my duty as a citizen of South Korea. Only then will I have the right to say anything. I’ll think of it as a time to become an adult.”

The monk then shared words of wisdom and advised him, saying, “A year and a half (in the military) out of your 80 years of life is not a waste, but it will be a precious time to look back on yourself. Even if your hair turns gray as you get older, I hope you stay as BTS’ RM who makes great music.”

However, soon after the articles hit the wire, RM took to his Instagram Story to express his frustration over the details of his visit going public. “I appreciated the great time I had there, but to think that you told reporters about it…” He then added, “Next time, I’ll quietly visit a different temple,” and the hashtag “#lowkeymustbelowkey.”

These are some of the comets: “I’m speechless…” “Even the monks want to be famous,” “Can’t imagine how betrayed he must’ve felt,” and “They want the title ‘BTS’ RM visited here.'”
