Lee Seung Gi to Donate All Money He Received From Hook Entertainment

Lee Seung Gi went out about his disagreement with Hook Entertainment, stating that the money he earned from the label will be donated to charity.

The singer wrote, “I received a text message this morning informing me that around $3.8 million had been deposited into my bank account. Hook Entertainment seemed to believe that I filed legal action just to receive money. I’ve never even received one of those standard profit and loss statements for my music… They are attempting to resolve this case unilaterally under the pretext of paying unpaid wages.”

“Until recently, I had no idea that there were music earnings that I had to receive. I did not file a lawsuit against Hook because of unpaid wages. Someone else’s greed should not be allowed to take advantage of someone else’s hard work and sweat. I believed that fulfilling this was the best I could do,” he revealed.

“Starting with the 5 billion won deposited today, excluding legal costs, I will give back the rest to the community. This is not a decision I made over night. When I decided to fight Hook, I decided to spend all of the money I would earn to help others in need.”
