Lee Dong Wook‘s recent messages sent to some of his Universe subscribers were uploaded on a Twitter account on December 11th.
Universe Private Message is a mobile app that offers an online chat service where fans can pay to communicate with celebrities in a one-on-one chat room.

In the snapshots uploaded on the Twitter account, the actor seemed genuinely curious about why someone would pay for a service to receive his messages and then complain about getting them.
He wrote, “Hey, I’m actually curious, and I’m hoping you’ll respond. It’s not that I’m angry or anything, but I’m just too curious. Why are you telling me to stop messaging you because it bothers your work? I simply want to know your intention.” “Why are you subscribing to me? You can cancel your subscription, turn off the notification, or delete the app altogether, right? I’m not upset at all, but I simply wish to know why people do that. Anyways, let’s let this unsolved mystery stay unresolved forever, LOL,” he added.

After seeing the chat, fans rushed to their social media and wrote, “Why do they follow him in the first place? I don’t understand these people either,” “He has a strong self-esteem, and I love that about him. People like them think that they have the right to say anything as they paid to subscribe to him,” “He sounds a little upset though,” and “Don’t they have to consider themselves lucky when their favorite artist talks a lot on these kinds of apps?”
