Kang Ha Neul, Ha Ji Won and More Share Their Takeaways From ‘Curtain Call’

Curtain Call stars Kang Ha Neul, Ha Ji Won, Jung Ji So, Noh Sang Hyun posed for a photoshoot with Harpers Bazaar Korea.

The drama follows a nameless stage actor named Yoo Jae Heon (played by Kang Ha Neul) who accepts the job of pretending to be the grandson of terminally ill hotelier Ja Soo Geum (Go Doo Shim). Her youngest daughter and the hotel’s manager Park Se Yeon (Ha Ji Won) teams up with Jae Heon in a ploy to fulfill Soo Geum’s final wish,

The actors shared their takeaways from the upcoming series in an interview after the photoshoot. Kang Ha Neul shared, “The drama’s unique setting will make you sit on the edge of your seat.” Ha Ji Won added, “I also fell in love with the setting. The drama will make you feel family love as the stage actors play their parts and grow all together.”

When asked about what makes them keep pursuing their acting career, Kang Ha Neul responded, “I love the joyful vibe on set. I try not to care too much about being assessed as an actor. I think it’s important for any actor to break free from all those evaluations.” Ha Ji Won continued, “I’m the happiest when I exude all my energy on set. I want to deliver positive messages, values, and emotions to viewers through meaningful projects.”

Jung Ji So and Noh Sange Hyun picked the word “proving” as what motivates them to work as an actor. Jung Ji So shared, “I want to prove myself as an actress and show that I am willing to pursue this career till the end.” Noh Sang Hyun said, “The desire to be recognized and meet expectations make me move forward as an actor.”
