It’s been reported that a Thai dan spent $123,700 to win the VIP ticket at Kim Soo Hyun‘s fan meeting.
According to the Thai distribution company Lotus and local media, Kim Soo Hyun is holding a fan meeting titled “Meet & Greet” at the Thunderdome Stadium in Bangkok on October 2nd.
This fan meeting is only open to customers who have purchased more than 5,000 baht (about $132) of gold at Lotus stores. The top 3,800 spenders will be invited to the event.
Among them, the top 100 people will get a chance to sit in the front row seats and receive VIP benefits such as taking pictures with Kim Soo Hyun and getting his signature and special goods.
According to the tally, the top purchase amount among the fans attending the event has spent 4.7 million baht (about $123,700). The second on the list dropped 4 million baht (about $105,320). In Thailand, people are reacting that this is “the most expensive Hallyu star fan meeting.”
