Lee Dong Wook in Talks to Join the New Drama About a Gangster Family

Lee Dong Wook has been offered a role in the new drama The Good Man (literal title).

According to King Kong by Starship, Lee Dong Wook got an offer to star in The Good Man and is positively reviewing it.

The Good Man depicts the many ups and downs that Seok Cheol, the eldest son of a third-generation gangster family, experiences as he tries to protect his family, work, and love.

The drama is penned by There Are Blue Birds and Yuna’s Street writer Kim Woon Kyung, who’s known for his realistic and warm depiction of the lives of ordinary people, and helmed by director Song Hye Sung, whose credits include Failan and Maundy Thursday. The filming will begin next year after finalizing the cast by this year.

Meanwhile, Lee Dong Wook will return to the small screen later this year with Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938, the prequel of the hit series Tale of the Nine-Tailed.
