Remember unveiled its release date along with its first poster and teaser trailer.

The story of the upcoming movie is set in Korea where a retired octogenarian soldier with dementia goes in search of vengeance against pro-Japanese collaborators, whom he believes were responsible for the deaths of his family during the occupation. When a young innocent man becomes unintentionally involved, he is suspected of murder and ends up accompanying the old man to try to stop the killing and prove his own innocence. A Violent Prosecutor director Lee Il Hyung helmed the film.

The new set of posters features Lee Sung Min aiming his gun at someone while Nam Joo Hyuk is looking extremely concerned. Besides the two portrait posters, there is another poster showing a set of hands holding a gun on a white background.

The newly released teaser trailer shares a glimpse of Lee Sung Min as the old soldier, Pil Joo. His hunched shoulders, slow gait and hoarse voice bring viewers right into the story. The scene then changes to him saying, “My name is Han Pil Joo. I’m an Alzheimer’s patient with a late-stage brain tumor,” into the camera. “It has been planned for a very long time,” he says with a determined look as he plans to take revenge against those responsible for his family’s death during the Japanese colonial period.

Nam Joo Hyuk plays a young man named In Kyu, who becomes unintentionally involved in Pill Joo’s revenge plan. Just like he did in Twenty-Five Twenty-One, he is expected to pull the heartstrings of viewers in the upcoming show. Expectations are high on how the revenge story will pan out.

Remember will hit theaters on October 26th.
