After sitting down for a short interview, the actor talked about the nature of his job as an actor. “One thing I often say is, ‘Is there any other job that leaves you with so many regrets?'” he shared. “Every time I shoot, I have many regrets. About playing Jang Uk in Alchemy of Souls, Lee Jae Wook commented, “I’ve never tried something as desperately as Jang Uk has, and I’ve never felt a sense of accomplishment as much as he did.” He then added, “But strangely, there were many moments when I felt like I was going to cry while playing Jang Uk. I experienced an overwhelming feeling in the moment, and I felt what it meant to be ‘overwhelmed’ with my whole body.”

Lastly, the actor shared, “I don’t want to lose the way I work hard to live happily at every moment. I hope I share positive teamwork with the people I work with on the fun set.”
