Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee in Talks to Join ‘Descendants of the Sun’ Director’s New Blood-Filled Series

Will we get to see Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee on the same screen?

On Monday, Sports Kyunghyang reported that Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee have joined the cast of the new drama helmed by Lee Eung Bok. The Price of Confession (literal title) depicts the bloody chronicle of two women surrounding a murder case.

The show comes from the hitmaker Lee Eung Bok, whose credits include Descendants of the Sun, Mr. Sunshine, Jirisan, and Netflix’s Sweet Home. Sad Movie and Proof of Innocence helmer Kwon Jong Kwan will partner with him as a scriptwriter. Both actresses’ agencies replied, “The Price of Confession is one of the many projects she received an offer from.”

If they do join the show, Song Hye Kyo plays art teacher Ahn Yun Su and Han So Hee steps into the role of mysterious woman Mo Eun. Ahn Yun Su gets swept up in an unexpected case while pursuing small happiness, and her life is turned upside down. Mo Eun is a woman everyone is afraid of because of her antisocial tendencies, but she reaches out to Yun Su, presenting a new world to her.

Lee Eung Bok and Song Hye Kyo have worked together in Descendants of the Sun, making a global hit, which naturally raises expectations for their reunion in a completely different series.
