The new webtoon-adapted drama Murder DIEary (literal title) got greenlighted for the Netflix release.
On the 19th, Netflix announced its production of Murder DIEary and confirmed a stellar casting of Choi Woo Shik, Son Suk Ku, and Lee Hee Joon.
Murder DIEary tells the story of an ordinary man who accidentally starts murder and a detective who persistently pursues him. The original webtoon of the same name gained popularity for its unpredictable twists and shocking plot, unlike the cute drawings.
Choi Woo Shik steps into the role of Lee Tang, an ordinary college student who comes to realize that he has the ability to discern evildoers after his first accidental murder. Son Suk Ku plays the detective working on Lee Tang’s murder cases, while Lee Hee Joon joins the cast as Song Chon, a former detective who tracks Lee Tang’s whereabouts alone.
This new Netflix series comes from Hell Is Other People director Lee Chang Hee, and the script is penned by rookie writer Kim Da Min.
