Lee Jung Jae Wins Best Actor in a Streaming Drama Series at the Hollywood Critics Association TV Awards

Squid Game star Lee Jung Jae won Best Actor in a Streaming Drama Series at this year’s Hollywood Critics Association TV Awards, held on August 14th.

Lee picked up the award over seven other nominees, including Tom Hiddleston from Loki, Gary Oldman from Slow Horses, Adam Scott from Severance, Henry Cavill from The Witcher,  Jason Bateman from Ozark, Penn Badgley from You,  and Tom Ellis from Lucifer.

“It is a  great  honor for me to receive this special  award,” the actor said. “Squid Game  has given me  a lot of new  opportunities. Thank you for your endless love and support for the show. I am looking forward to writing the next chapter of my career after Squid Game, and I wish to work on more and more inspiring projects in the future. Please stay tuned for season 2 of Squid Game!”
