Extraordinary Attorney Woo is recently seeing a sharp drop in popularity.

Episode 13 surprised viewers with a possible fling between “Tactician” Kwon Min Woo (played by Joo Jong Hyuk) and “Spring Sunshine” Choi Soo Yeon (Ha Yoon Kyung) and revealed why he desperately wanted to take down Woo Young Woo and become a full-time lawyer by bringing his ill father, who needs full-time care, into the story.

On top of that, the preview for episode 14 shared a glimpse of Woo Young Woo (Park Eun Bin) telling Lee Jun Ho (Kang Tae Oh) that they should stop seeing each other as romantic interests, and Kwon Min Woo confirming his feelings for Choi Soo Yeon. After watching the preview, many expressed their shock and concern over the unexpected storyline the drama is about to unveil.

As soon as the episode concluded, viewers rushed to the comment section of the preview and wrote, “Please don’t make Kwon Min Woo fall in love with Choi Soo Yeon,” “I can understand the possible breakup between Woo Young Woo and Lee Jun Ho, but not the fling between Kwon Min Woo and Choi Soo Yeon,” and “What was the intention behind making Kwon Min Woo a egocentric character if he would end up together with Choi Soo Yeon?”

Other viewers pointed out that the new romance added to the story is the reason it’s seeing a dip in ratings.

Some viewers even wrote, “The love stories are destroying what used to be a very inspiring story,” “The romance ruined the show. Not happy with Choi Soo Yeon falling in love with Kwon Min Woo,” “What a random story development,” “Makes me tune out of the show,” “Please don’t couple Soo Yeon and the tactician together,” “I can’t understand why things are working our between Kwon Min Woo and Choi Soo Yeon all of the sudden.”
