BLACKPINK will finally make their return on August 19th.
On August 8th, YG Entertainment announced the return of BLACKPINK and revealed the title for their upcoming pre-release single: “Pink Venom.” The teaser poster has a pair of canine teeth on top, which also appeared in their comeback trailer released on August 1st. The mysterious teeth of the yet-to-be-revealed creature heighten fans’ curiosity as to what could be their theme for the upcoming album.
The label stated, “We are glad to announce the release date for BLACKPINK’s new project, ‘BORN PINK,’ on the day they made their debut. We hope it will be an exciting gift to fans who have been waiting for their return.”
The label recently announced the group’s new project, “BORN PINK.” According to the company, the female band will drop its pre-release single in August, full album in September, and have their world tour in October. This marks BLACKPINK’s comeback after a year and ten months since their first full album, The Album, in 2020. As YG has reportedly spent the highest production cost on their upcoming music videos, all eyes are on their upcoming project and what kind of new records they will set.
