tvN’s Alchemy of Souls recently unveiled new stills of Lee Jae Wook and Jung So Min.
Previously in the eighth episode, Jang Wook (played by Lee Jae Wook) was chasing after Jin Moo’s (Jo Jae Yoon) man Gil Joo (Choi Ji Ho) and discovered that the royal family had the ice stone, which is used in the alchemy of souls and was responsible for destroyed Daeho 200 years eariler. Jang Wook was seen promising Mu Deok (Jung So Min), saying, “I will climb up the ranks and bring you the ice stone.”
In the newly released stills, Mudeok is adjusting Jang Wook’s robes while Jang Wook is dressed as a Songrim sorcerer. His posture suggests that he will be entering Jeongjingak that day, another picture shows Jang Wook bringing her into a tight embrace, as he can’t hold back his feelings for her.
The production team said, “The upcoming episode will make viewers’ hearts flutter as Jang Wook will be upfront about his feelings for Mudeok. The next two episodes will capture him confessing his feelings in front of the mysterious mirror and surprising her with a hand-made special gift. Stayed tuned for their sweet romance in the future episodes.”
