New Coupang Play series Anna dropped its first intriguing teaser trailer.
Anna follows the life of a woman whose single lie creates a domino effect beyond her control, which eventually leads her to live someone else’s life. The drama is based on Chung Han Ah’s novel Intimate Stranger �and produced by A Single Rider‘s director Lee Joo Young. The series is equipped with a star-studded cast, including Suzy, Jung Eun Chae, Kim Jun Han, and Park Ye Young.
The teaser begins with Suzy’s soft narration, saying, “People write lies even in their own journals.” The clip grabs the viewers’ attention with Anna walking on a vast snowfield and then roaming mindlessly on an empty street.
The scene then switches to Anna living two different lives, when she used to be known as Yoo Mi. While Yoo Mi survives off ramen noodles and works 24/7 on her part-time jobs, Anna lives a luxurious life attending fancy weddings and doing interviews at various extravagant events.
Anna will premiere on June 24th.
