tvN’s new Monday-Tuesday drama Link: Eat, Love, Die is heightening viewers’ interest with its unique worldview that falls between romance and mystery. Link: Eat, Love, Die is a fantasy romance drama about a man who feels all of the emotions of an unknown woman when the “link phenomenon” occurs for the first time in 18 years.
Fans are curious to see how chef Eun Gye Hoon (played by Yeo Jin Goo) and a trainee Noh Da Hyun (Moon Ga Young) will grow close to each other as Gye Hoon accidentally feels Da Hyun’s emotions without her knowing about them being shared.
Meanwhile, the story will begin in the Jihwa-Dong neighborhood, which will become a hotbed for all kinds of mysterious events. Jihwa-Dong is the hometown of Noh Da Hyun’s mother and grandmother, and it’s where Gye Hoon runs his diner: Jihwa Western Restaurant.
Eun Gye Hoon has lived in the town for 18 years and went through a heartbreaking experience when his twin brother went missing with his special ability to read other people’s emotions. Then, for the first time in 18 years, he begins to feel the emotions of a strange woman named Noh Da Hyun and eventually comes back to his hometown.
The village is also where Da Hyun experiences a series of strange events. She falls into hardships in the midst of her own difficult times. However, her mother Hong Bok Hee (Kim Ji Young) and grandmother Na Chun Ok (Ye Soo Jung) do their best to save Da Hyun from trouble. Fans are wondering how the strange “phenomenon” will turn her life upside down.
The released teaser clips shared glimpses of the unusual town as the village holds a ritual with a shaman shouting, “There is a criminal in this neighborhood.” The suspicious eyes of the villagers add to the show’s suspense, sparking curiosity about the stories that will be told in this simple and rustic neighborhood.
