BTS’ V and Blackpink’sJennie‘s dating rumors have taken a new turn recently, with a new claim that the man beside Jennie in the pictures is not V.
An influencer, known as “the model that resembles V,” has a similar look and hairstyle to the celebrity. Fans are suspecting that he is the one in the pictures due to the scarf that the Instagram model often wears. Moreover, his posts of pictures visiting Jeju in May added doubt to the issue, as V also uploaded pictures in Jeju around that time.
Meanwhile, an anonymous hair designer with a 20-year-long career claimed, “As you can see in In the Soop, V has curlier and longer hair. The man’s hairstyle in the photos looks different from V’s.”
To clear the air, the model, known as “Taek,” opened up about the situation on his Instagram. On the 27th, he wrote, “The guy in the picture going viral now on Twitter is not me. So you don’t need to message me anymore.”
However, HYBE and YG Entertainment have not yet made an official announcement regarding the matter. The two celebrities are staying quiet about the issue as well.
