A post about Kim Chaewon‘s past is gaining attention in various online communities.
On May 16th, a post titled “A LE SSERAFIM Member Who Doesn’t Need To Worry About School Bullying Accusations” showed past comments from classmates who attended the same school as Kim Chaewon.
One of her schoolmates wrote, “Kim Chaewon only hung out with her close friends and didn’t say much. She used to wear glasses, but people saw how beautiful she was without them during a school festival and begged her to stop wearing them.” Another alumnus of hers chimed in by saying, “I didn’t know she was a trainee.” Others added, “She wasn’t the type of girl who liked wearing makeup and taking pictures. She only hung out with her close friends. I didn’t spot her at any of the school festivals or dance competitions. I only remember her doing school volunteer work as her extracurricular activity.”
Reading what her classmates wrote, South Korean internet users left comments, saying, “Kim Chae Won does not need to worry about having scandals over her past,” “it’s amazing that no one knew her when she’s that beautiful,” and “she’s perfect.”

Kim Chae Won re-debuted as a member of LE SSERAFIM on April 2nd after pursuing her idol career as a member of IZ*ONE from 2018 to 2021.
