Hunt, which continues to receive rave reviews after the premiere at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, dropped a launching teaser, thrilling the prospective audience.
The teaser begins with NIS agent Park Pyung Ho (Lee Jung Jae) shouting out a sniper attack. The explosive conflict between him and another agent Kim Jung Do (Jung Woo Sung), who killed the suspect, draws out the tension.
Faced with a huge incident called “Korea’s No. 1 Assassination Op,” the two begin to pursue the hidden spy within the organization called Dongrim. As their investigations only raise doubts about each other, the teaser shows Kim Jung Do saying “I do think you’re Dongrim” and Park Pyung Ho saying “You will never make it out here alive.”
In particular, the intense action sequences following the chase after the spy will make it impossible to take your eyes off.
After the launching teaser was released, people poured out their expectations over the Lee Jung Jae and Jung Woo Sung duo, who reteamed 22 years after the movie City of the Rising Sun.
Meanwhile, Hunt is a spy action drama about Park Pyung Ho and Kim Jung Do, National Intelligence Service (NIS) agents, chasing after a North Korean spy and facing the shocking truth. It’s also the directorial debut film of Lee Jung Jae, who created a global sensation with Squid Game.
