Alchemy of Souls unveiled the first batch of still photos for Jung So Min.
tvN’s new weekend series Alchemy of Souls is a fantasy romance drama set in a country that doesn’t exist in history or on maps. It follows the protagonists whose fate has been twisted due to the soul-changing magic. Hong Sisters, the writers best known for The Greatest Love, Master’s Sun, A Korean Odyssey, and Hotel Del Luna, will team up with What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim director Park Joon Hwa for the drama.
Jung So Min takes on the role of Moo Duk Yi. Moo Duk Yi is someone who has the soul of Nak Soo (Go Yoon Jung), the best assassin the country has ever seen, inside the body of a weakling. She becomes Jang Wook’s (Lee Jae Wook) attendant and a secret teacher that teaches him in a heinous way, raising expectations.
The released photos show a glimpse into the two different sides of Moo Duk Yi. One photo shows her all tensed up just walking down the street, while the photo has her on alert with an assassin’s eyes. How did an assassin, who was named Nak Soo because heads were chopped up wherever she went, end up in the body of Moo Duk Yi?
The production team shared, “From an innocent Moo Duk Yi to a charismatic assassin in disguise as a servant; you’ll get to see the new sides and charms of Jung So Min.”
Meanwhile, Alchemy of Souls will premiere on June 18h at 9:10 PM KST.
