5 South Korean Celebrities Who Turned Their Lives Around

The April 28th broadcast of KBS’ Entertainment Company Live �introduced a list of seven South Korean celebrities who turned their lives around.

Lee Junho topped the list. The singer-turned-actor, who was not a prominent member compared to others in 2PM, began to gain popularity as his “My House” fan cam went viral online five years after its release. He then received rave reviews for playing the sexiest Jeongjo of all time in his latest drama The Red Sleeve.

The second place went to Jung Ho Yeon. She debuted as a fashion model and got a role in Squid Game a year into her career. The series soon became a phenomenal hit, and she won an acting prize at the SAG Awards as the first actor from a non-English-language series.

Youn Yuh Jung came in No.1 as she was recognized for her acting in her debut film Woman of Fire. She became the first Korean actress to win an Oscar for her excellent performance in the 2021 film, Minari.

Huh Jae ranked fourth. The legendary basketball player is famous for sweeping awards at various sports tournaments. �Just like how he nailed his moves on the basketball court, he is currently staying extra active as an entertainer.

Lee Mi Joo from Lovelyz landed on the fifth. The singer, who originally had an “ice princess” like image, quickly rose to fame as she showed her natural bubbly self on her way to work at Music Bank. Since then, she joined the Yoo Jae Seok squad and became one of the best young entertainers in the country.
