‘The Sound of Magic’ invites viewers into the magical world!
On the 11th, Netflix released the teaser trailer for its upcoming series The Sound of Magic. This new fantasy music drama tells the story of what happens when a girl, who lost her dream, and a boy, who is forced to have a dream he doesn’t want, meet a mysterious magician.
The main poster invites viewers to the dreamy world in an empty amusement park with beautifully lit a merry-go-round, fireworks, butterflies, and soap bubbles. Ri Eul (Ji Chang Wook), the mysterious magician, casts a spell, saying, “Do you believe in magic?” And behind him are Yoon Ai (Choi Sung Eun) and Na Il Deung (Hwang In Youp) with stunned expressions.
The released teaser creates a dreamy vibe from the start with the rhythmic music and the mysterious appearance of Ri Eul. Soon, he shows up in front of Yoon Ai, who is exhausted in the face of harsh reality, and presents her with a magical moment. Feeling cheered up, Yoon Ai carefully hopes, “Can I believe that because I’ve lived such a hard life, someone sent me a real magician?” Na Il Deung, who is at the top of his class, follows Ai to the amusement park, and there, he encounters a new world and emotions with Ri Eul’s help.
Yoon Ai lost her dream because of adults. Na Il Deung is forced to have a dream he doesn’t want by adults. What changes will they see after meeting Ri Eul, who wishes to stay as a child forever?
Meanwhile, The Sound of Magic is based on the webtoon of the same name. The music drama adaptation will deliver comfort to the viewers around the world with the perfect combination of story, music, choreography, and cinematography. The show will be released on Netflix on May 6th.
