Shin Min Ah and �Kim Woo Bin, a real-life couple, are starring in the same drama. And for this upcoming romance series, they will partner up with different actors.
On the 7th, writer Noh Hee Kyung attended the online press conference for tvN’s new weekend series Our Blues. On this day, she talked about casting Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin for the same project.
“I had no worries,” she said. “I knew I couldn’t make them play a couple. I told them that I’m going to cast them for two different love stories.” Writer Noh then added, “They both said they were fine. I didn’t worry since I knew they were cool about it.”
This is the first time Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin will be in the same show. The two came public with their relationship back in 2015. In particular, Shin Min Ah received support from gans for showing her unchanging love for Kim Woo Bin even while he was battling cancer.
Meanwhile, Our Blues is an omnibus drama unfolding against the beautiful backdrop of Jeju Island. It tells the story of diverse characters that are somewhat interconnected, in one way or the other.
The show premieres on the 9th at 9:10 PM KST.
