The new Coupang original series Anna (literal title) wrapped up its six-month journey on the 23rd.
Anna tells the story of a woman who starts off by telling a small lie and ends up living someone else’s life. Suzy plays the lead role Yu Mi, who starts living a completely different life because of her small lies.
Suzy shared, “There were many difficult moments in following Yu Mi’s wide range of emotions. But as an actress, I was very fortunate to have met such a character and project. I gave it my all every moment and every moment was a challenge. But I had so much fun filming, so I know this will become a very meaningful drama for me.” Director Lee Zoo Young added, “”I sincerely thank the actors and staff who did their best until the end. I will put all my heart into the remaining work so that the story of the various emotions and characters of ‘Anna’ can reach the hearts of viewers.”
The first released stills of Anna show a glimpse into two different images of Suzy. In one, she’s leaning on a bus window looking exhausted, whereas the other shows her all confident and proud.
Meanwhile, Anna is a new work by A Single Rider director Lee Zoo Young. Joining her in the crew are award-winning cinematographer Lee Eui Tae, editor Kim Jung Hoon, and music director Mowg. � The full cask includes Suzy, Jung Eun Chae, Kim Jun Han, and Park Ye Young. The show will be released exclusively on Coupang Play this summer.
