According to Flixpatrol, South Korean TV series Business Proposal has climbed to No.4 on Netflix’s top 10 global TV rankings as of March 23rd.
The romance drama has topped the streamer’s global rankings in South Korea, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. It also did well in some of the English-speaking countries despite their preference for English language content. On the same day, the show entered the top 10 list on eight place in the U.S., the country with the most Netflix subscribers. The show came in at No.9 in Australia, No.8 in Canada, and No.7 in New Zealand.
Meanwhile, South Korean shows are seeing an explosion of interest across the globe, dominating Netflix’s almost every non-English TV rankings. According to the streaming service, Business Proposal became the most-watched non-English series over the March 14th-March 20th period with 2.34 million hours viewed. Twenty-Five, Twenty-One, Juvenile Justice, All of Us Are Dead, Forecasting Love and Weather and Thirty-Nine were listed from second to fifth places.
