MONSTA X is returning to the K-pop scene with a new album.
According to media outlets, MONSTA X is currently working on their April comeback. The act’s label Starship Entertainment responded, “MONSTA X is working on a new album with the goal of releasing it in April. The specific schedule will be revealed later. We ask for your interest and love.”
This marks the group’s comeback in Korea five months after NO LIMIT, released in November last year. The boys, who have been focusing on their solo careers such as solo albums, radio host, and acting, plan to show a new side of themselves ahead of their world tour in May and June.
In particular, expectations are high for the members’ self-composed songs. Joohoney has especially shown off his songmaking skills through “GAMBLER” from One Of A Kind and “Rush Hour” in NO LIMIT.
Meanwhile, Shownu enlisted in July last year and is now fulfilling his military duty. In the meantime, MONSTA X is promoting as a five-member group.
