According to media outlets, Lee Bo Young was offered the female lead of the new office drama Advertising Agency (literal title). To which the actress’s agency J,WIDE-COMPANY responded, “She’s positively looking into the offer.”
Advertising Agency follows the life of a woman who doesn’t stop at becoming the first female executive but takes a step further to reach the highest position in the industry. It will tell a realistic story of the lives of those who live hell-like life and the behind-the-scenes moments of the industry.
If she joins the project, Lee Bo Young will play Go Ah In. She’s someone who overcame her hardships and rose to become the first female executive position in Korea’s top advertising agency.
Last year, Lee Bo Young starred in tvN’s Mine, which surpassed the 10% viewership mark, once again proving herself as the “never-failing actress.”
Meanwhile, Advertising Agency will most likely be programmed as the new JTBC drama to premier in the second half of this year.
