In episode 5 of SBS’ Business Proposal, �Kang Tae Mu (Ahn Hyo Seop) began to take his sweet revenge on Shin Geum Hee (Kim Se Jeong) after learning her true identity. The episode begins with Tae Mu finding out that Shin Geum Hee was in fact his employee named Shin Ha Ri. Upon learning the shocking truth, he plans to repay her by giving her a hard time at work.
As Shin Ha Ri has no idea that she has been exposed, Kang Tae Mu’s unexpected call puts her in a tough spot for her to continue living a double life. He invites both Shin Geum Hee and Shin Ha Ri to the goFood’s founding anniversary event as his date and as the winner of the event’s award. Her endless lies get on his nerves, but at the same time, he somehow feels bad about putting her into this chaotic situation. Kang Tae Mu was also seen getting jealous over Shin Ha Ri talking to her longtime crush Lee Min Woo (Song Won Seok).
Meanwhile, Shin Ha Ri, who had a tough night playing two roles, ends up calling Kang Tae Mu. When he arrives, Shin Ha Ri thinks that she is dreaming so she confesses her identity to Kang Tae Mu and falls asleep in his arms. Shin Ha Ri’s unexpected drunk confession softens Kang Tae Mu’s heart, but he feels confused more than ever.
At the end of the episode, Kang Tae Mu finds out that Jin Young Seo (Seoul In Ah), Shin Ha Ri’s best friend, is being recorded on a hidden camera. Shin Ha Ri gets shocked when Kang Tae Mu calls out her name urgently and realizes that her real identity has been exposed.
