Suzy Is Reportedly Playing Title Role in New Netflix Webtoon-Based Series Helmed by ‘Crash Landing on You’ Director

Suzy will take on the title role of the new Netflix series Lee Doo Na! (literal title), according to Sports Chosun.

Lee Doo Na! begins when the K-pop star Lee Doo Na, who suddenly chooses to retire, moves into a share house with Lee Won Joon, a freshman in college. It’s based on the popular webtoon The Girl Downstairs, first published in 2019. Since it was released, the webtoon has enjoyed great popularity among the viewers.

In particular, Suzy has been on the list of candidates the original fans want for the role, raising expectations for the “dream cast.”

If Suzy really joins the production, she’ll play the title role Lee Doo Na. She is the main vocalist of the girl group Dream Sweet but decides to retire suddenly.
