Seo Ye Ji will make her return to the small screen with a new tvN drama Eve’s Scandal (literal title).
The actress will play a woman named Lee Ra El who carefully plans her revenge after witnessing the shocking murder of her father. She spends her whole life plotting revenge and ends up at the center of a 2 billion dollar divorce lawsuit.
The production crew explained, “Eve’s Scandal will deliver a brilliant revenge story, so we thought that the actor’s performance would play a vital role in the show’s success. Seo Ye Ji has the capability to perfectly pull off the role, Lee Ra El. On our first meeting, she showed up fully prepared for the role and she has a clear understanding of her character. That is why we decided to offer her the role.”
Park Byung Eun takes on the role of Kang Yoon Gyeom, the CEO of the top corporate in the financial industry. He is a successful man and a faithful husband, but he changes after falling in love with Lee Ra El.
Yoo Sun plays Han So Ra, the wife of Kang Yoon Gyeom. Although she looks gorgeous and elegant on the outside, she is suffering from anxiety and has a sick obsession with her husband.
Lee Sang Yeob will star as Seo Eun Pyung, the youngest congressman in the National Assembly. He is a genius who went from rags to riches.
Meanwhile, Seo Ye Ji has halted her activities for 10 months due to her scandal over her private relationship with her fellow actor Kim Jung Hyun in April of 2020.
