Suzy will be releasing her new song for the first time in four years.
According to Management SOOP, Suzy’s new digital single “Satellite” will be released on February 17th at 6 PM KST.
Suzy took part in writing the lyrics for “Satellite.” The song depicts the nostalgic feeling of yearning and longing for someone she cannot reach with the promise that she will always be there for them.
The new song borrows its sentiment from British pop music, and Singer-songwriter Kang Hyun Min, the leader of South Korean rock band Weather Forecast and Loveholic, participated as the song’s producer.
The agency stated, “We believe that the fans would be excited to hear Suzy’s new music as she has been focusing on her acting career for a while. Suzy carefully prepared her song with Kang Hyun Min, so we hope that it will bring an interesting hearing experience to the K-pop fans.”
